Income & Careers

How do you use a career plan to develop personal income potential?

Income determines the kind of cars you can buy, clothes you can wear, houses you can afford, and the kind of leisure activities you can attend. But when looking for a a job income should not be your only concern, you should also look for jobs that fit your kind of lifestyle.

For example Surgeons earn a yearly salary of $22,000 but they work irregularly long hours and have to deal with the hanging truth that their skill depends if people live or die. Not to mention with the high mortality rates in America, they have little time for family or fun. While as freelance artists or drawers earn little money, but can travel and do what they love. So the choice is yours what kind of career you want in the future. You have to take into account your lifestyle, how much money you earn, and how you want this career to affect your life. It is rare that you will find a career that accomadates all three, you would be better off looking for one that achieves the two you want the most.

Does the career you choose affect your income?

Yes, in fact the career you choose directly determines the amount of income you pull in. If you choose a job as a lawyer, (which is common among world leaders) you get paid an average of $1 million a year, but how much you get paid depends on if you win a lot of cases or how reliable you are. Not only that but you have to be able to keep your cool under pressure and present valid sources to back up the person you are defending or discredit the person you are attacking.
